Motorized Aerotrim with Light and Sound

A motorized Aerotrim is designed and manufactured with a light source and sound. Both its rotation speed and effects are controlled wirelessly via DMX.

The installation called Debris, whose concept was created by Onionlab, aims to make visitors reflect on the space debris orbiting our planet.

This conceptual work is exhibited at the Mira Digital Arts Festival in Barcelona.

Technological Solution

The project includes:

  • Design, calculation, and manufacture of the entire mechanical structure
  • Design, programming and manufacture of electrical panels with all the automatisms and safety measures
  • Software programming and synchronization for the movement of the two semicircles
  • Software for controlling the spotlight and sound, as well as the speed wirelessly via DMX.
