Orlando Furioso. Musical work with robotic instruments

In this collaborative project with Roland Olbeter, we carried out the technical development and manufacture of the control system and specific electronics for processing the audio signal of innovative robotic musical instruments.

Five innovative instruments are created: four string instruments and a drum, all of them robotic, electromechanically and autonomously driven. Each of these instruments has its own tuning and real acoustic sound.

These instruments are part of the scenic and musical adaptation created by Roland Olbeter, Orlando Furioso, based on the Italian Renaissance work by Ludovico Ariosto, performed by these 5 instruments together with a soprano.

We also took care of the technical direction of the show in various locations such as the Grec or concerts in Germany.
